The United States will not cancel negotiations with Iran, despite the alleged attempt by an Iranian drone attack on an American aircraft carrier. This was announced on February 3 by White House press Secretary Caroline Leavitt.

She added that negotiations with the Iranian side remain on schedule this week. US President Donald Trump is committed to a diplomatic approach to resolving differences.
