Seven new training workshops will appear in the colleges of Transbaikalia

In 2026, seven new workshops are planned to be created in the Trans-Baikal Territory on the basis of technical schools, colleges and colleges. This is reported by ChitaMedia news agency with reference to the press service of the regional Ministry of Economic Development.

Workshops will appear at Chita Polytechnic College, Chita Trade and Culinary College, Chita Pedagogical College, Chita College of Industrial Technologies and Business, Zabaikalsky College of Professional Technology and Service in Chita, Sretensk Pedagogical College and Khilok Railway College.

70 million rubles were allocated from the federal budget to equip the workshops with the necessary equipment. According to the head of the regional Ministry of Economic Development, Jargalma Badmazhapova, the sites will be focused on training personnel for in-demand sectors of the economy.

In January, it was reported that the project of the new campus of the Buryat Republican Multidisciplinary College of Innovative Technologies (GAPOU BRMTIT) received a positive conclusion from the State Expert Examination. The laboratory complex with an area of more than 6 thousand square meters will house classrooms and laboratories, the technological building will include many workshops.
