In Krasnoyarsk, a woman was killed as a result of a hit-and-run by a foreign car. This is reported by KrasnoyarskMedia news agency with reference to the regional State Traffic Inspectorate.

The accident occurred the night before, on February 2, on the 16th km of the federal highway R-257 "Yenisei". It was previously established that a 32-year-old Ford Explorer driver ran over a woman who was on the roadway.

As a result of the collision, the pedestrian received various injuries, from which she died on the spot before the ambulance arrived. The circumstances of the accident are being established.

In total, 208 road accidents occurred on the country's roads over the past day, as a result of which 27 people were killed and 237 injured. As a result of 67 road accidents, 41 of which occurred at pedestrian crossings and 27 outside their area of operation, seven pedestrians were killed, and 67 more were injured in various degrees of severity.
