The court has remanded in custody a person involved in the murder of a nine-year-old boy in St. Petersburg for a period of 1 month and 30 days. This was reported on February 3 by a correspondent of Izvestia from the courtroom.
"To choose the detention of Peter Zhilkin for a period of 1 month and 30 days," the judge sentenced.
Pyotr Zhilkin, a suspect in the murder of a nine-year-old boy in St. Petersburg, pleaded guilty to the crime on the same day. The Oktyabrsky District Court of St. Petersburg is considering the investigation's request for Zhilkin's arrest. He is charged under Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Murder of a minor").

According to investigators, the accused arrived at the Simonovsky creek in the Lomonosovsky district and dumped the child's body there.
