The FSB detained an agent of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine in Mariupol

An agent of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has been detained in Mariupol. This was reported to Izvestia on February 3 by the press service of the UFSB for the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR).

It was established that a 20-year-old resident of Mariupol established contact with representatives of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine through a messenger and, on their instructions, collected and transmitted information about the locations of Rosgvardiya units in the city.

The investigative unit of the FSB opened a criminal case under Article 275 of the Criminal Code of Russia ("High treason").

In Moscow on January 22, employees of the Federal Security Service (FSB) of Russia detained an agent of the Moldovan special services who arrived to carry out a mission to the detriment of the security of the Russian Federation. Correspondence with an employee of the Moldovan special service was found in the detainee's phone. A criminal case has been initiated under Article 275.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Cooperation on a confidential basis with a foreign state, international or foreign organization").
