In 2025, Moscow approved almost 130 million rubles in subsidies for training employees of Moscow companies. More than 2,000 specialists have completed professional retraining or advanced training courses, said Deputy Mayor Natalia Sergunina.

"Over the past six years, more than 1.2 thousand companies have used the opportunities of the capital's program. The total amount of support exceeded 565 million rubles. Almost 11 thousand specialists have been trained. The leaders in the number of applications were representatives of the IT industry and the high-tech sector," said Sergunina. Manufacturing enterprises, creative businesses and exporters are also among the applicants.

For example, subsidies were approved by companies working in the field of geological scientific research. Regular employee training allows the organization to maintain technological leadership and increase employee motivation. Another recipient of support, the largest provider of aircraft maintenance and repair, managed to strengthen the team and set up a systematic investment in personnel development due to additional funding.

The subsidy is available to Moscow enterprises from priority areas (information technology, innovative developments, manufacturing, scientific and technical activities). The city reimburses up to 95% of the costs of the educational agreement, but not more than 120 thousand rubles per employee per year. A maximum of 10 million rubles can be received for one application.
