On February 3, the Investigative Committee (IC) of the Russian Federation charged a detainee in the case of the murder of a nine-year-old boy in St. Petersburg.

According to the agency, the accused attacked the boy out of hostility and punched him in the head. It is specified that the child died on the spot.
