On February 3, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, during a government meeting with the leadership of the Communist Party faction, stressed the importance of a unified position of deputies on the topic of supporting participants in a special military operation (SVO) and their families.

"The consolidated position of the deputies on this issue is extremely important for society as a whole, and above all for the defenders and participants of the special military operation," Mishustin stressed.

He noted that in 2025, the faction took an active part in the dialogue with representatives of ministries and departments. According to him, one of the most effective examples of cooperation was the work to support the participants of the SVO and their families.

Mishustin also drew attention to the fact that dozens of bills have been passed in this area over the past year. The Prime Minister of the Russian Federation noted the initiative of the deputies of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation to expand housing guarantees for orphans serving in the special operation zone, which was supported by the government.
