Almost 30 thousand residents of Vladivostok were temporarily left without electricity due to an accident on the grid. This was announced on February 3 by the press service of the Primorsky Krai Prosecutor's Office.
"On the afternoon of February 3, 2026, an accident occurred on the power grids of the DRSK, which left more than 28 thousand residents of Vladivostok without electricity," the department said in a statement on the Telegram channel.
Outages affected more than 150 apartment and private houses on 11 streets of Vladivostok, including Okeansky Prospekt, as well as seven educational institutions.
The Prosecutor's Office is monitoring the progress of emergency recovery work and will check compliance with the law when servicing networks, the timing of the accident and the investigation of its causes.
On January 30, more than 1.3 thousand people were left without water supply and heat in the city of Bodaibo, Irkutsk region. The accident affected 1.3 thousand people living in 141 houses. Secondary school No. 3 and a special correctional school also found themselves without heat and water.
