Abnormally cold weather will remain in the Pskov region for several more days. The average daily temperature will be 10 degrees or more below the climatic norm.

This forecast is provided by the Pskov news feed with reference to the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region. So, on February 4-5, in most municipalities of the region, the average daily temperature will drop to -24 degrees.

On February 2, Tatiana Pozdnyakova, a leading specialist at the Meteonosti news agency, reported that the cold weather in the Moscow region would continue throughout the week, including weekends. She clarified that the most severe frosts are expected in the middle of the week, when the weather will be influenced by the periphery of the anticyclone.

Prior to that, in Moscow and the Moscow region, from Friday, January 30 to Tuesday, February 3, an "orange" weather hazard level was declared due to abnormal cold. It was noted that the weather in the region is abnormally cold with an average daily air temperature of 7-12 degrees below the climatic norm.
