155 lacquer panels for the Chinese Hall of the Catherine Palace were delivered to the Tsarskoye Selo Museum-Reserve in St. Petersburg. They were recreated by craftsmen from China.

According to Vice-Governor Boris Piotrovsky, who cites 78.ru These historical panels, like the rest of the interior of Catherine II's apartments, were destroyed during the Great Patriotic War. Chinese specialists took over the work to recreate the lost parts. They used analogues provided by the museum as samples.

Earlier, thanks to AI and the efforts of about 50 students, a general concept for the reconstruction of the panels for Catherine II's Dressing Room in the Catherine Palace was formed. In addition, it was possible to generate variants of images that were previously considered lost.

On January 22, it was reported that in St. Petersburg, during the restoration of the Radio House, experts discovered a bas-relief from the 1910s. The pre-revolutionary stucco was found when the chimney was being cleaned. At the edges of the composition there are two decorative elements in the form of male heads, and in the center there are sculptures of two young men. Experts have lifted documents from the archive and found that the fragments belong to the stucco design by Vasily Kosyakov.
