Russian football player, goalkeeper of the French club Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) Matvey Safonov will take part in more than 15 trials that will take place in different cities. Lawyer Andrey Kryuchkov informed Izvestia about this on February 3.
"Matvey acts as a defendant and a third party, and today [we are talking about] more than 15 trials, so we are participating not only in Moscow, but also in Krasnodar, and we will participate in other Russian cities where lawsuits are filed," the human rights defender clarified.
On the same day, the Nikulinsky District Court of the capital ruled in the case of the division of the jointly acquired property of Safonov and his ex-wife Anastasia Kazachek. The trial took place behind closed doors, the details of the case are unknown. At the same time, Kryuchkov stressed that the defense was pleased with the result.
On January 12, Safonov filed a police report in response to numerous lawsuits filed by his former wife, Kazachek. According to Kryuchkov, the girl wants to attract attention to herself and abuses her right to appeal to the court. So, in one of the lawsuits, Kazachek wanted to reimburse the court costs, which she did not actually bear, and in the other she demanded to check the professional suitability of her ex-spouse.
In November last year, Kazachek demanded to recover 6 million rubles from her ex-husband to reimburse court costs. According to Izvestia, the alimony case cost the Cossacks 4 million rubles in the Nikulinsky court and 2 million rubles in the Krasnodar court. She paid another 150,000 rubles for the work of lawyers in the Arbitration Court.
Kazachek and Safonov broke up in October 2021, the girl accused the athlete of treason. Then the court ordered the former goalkeeper of Krasnodar to pay his ex-wife 25% of his income as alimony for his daughter.
