A student at a school in Ufa spoke about the lack of communication of a teenager who shot at a gymnasium

A teenager from the ninth grade, who started shooting with a children's machine gun at a gymnasium in Ufa, was uncommunicative with his peers. This was reported to Izvestia on February 3 by one of the students of the educational institution.

"We saw him in the corridors. He was uncommunicative. He had few acquaintances and friends," the student shared.

According to him, the teenager fired about five to seven shots during the shooting. He added that out of fright he hid in a corner of the classroom with classmates, away from the door.

The First Deputy Prime Minister of Bashkortostan, Ural Kilsenbayev, said there were no casualties in the attack. The Interior Ministry in the region reported that the student went to class with a plastic pneumatic machine. The teenager also had a small kitchen knife. He fired several shots at a teacher, three classmates and detonated a firecracker.

Criminal cases have been opened on attempted murder and negligence after the shooting at an educational institution in Ufa. According to a source in Izvestia, a history teacher was allegedly injured in the attack. At the same time, a student at the school told Izvestia that the teenager had planned the attack in advance, and he had announced his intentions on social media at night.
