Poland took fighter jets into the air allegedly because of Russia's activity
Poland raised fighter jets allegedly because of Russia's activity on the territory of Ukraine. This was announced on February 3 by the operational command of the branches of the Polish Armed Forces on the social network X.
"Military aviation has begun operating in Polish airspace. <...> Fighters and early warning aircraft have been lifted into the air, ground—based air defense [air defense] and radar reconnaissance systems have been put on alert," the publication says.
It is noted that Poland's actions are allegedly aimed at ensuring the safety and protection of airspace.
