A volunteer reported on the possible torture of a boy abducted in St. Petersburg.
The body of a nine-year-old boy found in a frozen pond was bound with duct tape in the area of his arms, legs and head. It is possible that the child was tortured, a volunteer who participated in the search for the missing man told Izvestia on February 3.
"His hands are tied with duct tape, his legs — maybe he (is a suspect. — Ed.) tortured him, we don't know," she said at the scene.
It is noted that the child was also wearing a backpack. It was thanks to him that the body was discovered in a frozen pond.
Earlier in the day, it was reported that the body of a nine-year-old boy with bound legs was recovered from a frozen waterfall in the Leningrad region. Police officers were working at the scene, who examined the reservoir and the surrounding area. Local residents noticed the child's clothes and his briefcase, noticing them under the ice.
Earlier, on February 2, the suspect in the abduction of the child confessed to his murder. He drowned a minor in one of the local reservoirs.
