Residents of Austria opposed aid to Ukraine

58% of Austrian residents opposed the increase in financial assistance to Ukraine. This follows from a survey conducted by Heute, the result of which was published on February 2.

"According to a Heute survey, 58% of Austrians are against increasing aid funding," the publication says.

This runs counter to the policy of Austrian Foreign Minister Beate Meinl-Reisinger and the Neos (New Austria and the Liberal Forum) party, according to which humanitarian aid supplies to Ukraine have been increased.
