Junior Sergeant Surganov repaired a wired communication line under enemy fire

Junior Sergeant Alexander Surganov completed the task of organizing uninterrupted communication and information exchange between the battalion tactical group of Russian troops and the higher headquarters. The press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense reported on the exploits of servicemen of the Armed Forces in the area of the special military operation on Tuesday, February 3.

It is noted that the wired communication line was damaged after the shelling of Russian units by militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). The incident led to the disruption of uninterrupted communications and loss of control of the Russian forces. Junior Sergeant Surganov was sent to the task of reconstruction.

In the course of fulfilling his goals, the fighter was subjected to an air attack by enemy unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), but was able to repel the blow and personally shoot down two drones. As a result, the task was successfully completed, and communication with the unit was restored. It is noted that Surganov's professional actions made it possible to prevent a breakthrough in the defense of the Russian troops.

The Defense Ministry also said that Senior Warrant Officer Evgeny Kozlov delivered ammunition and food to the positions of Russian units near the line of contact. During the departure, the serviceman's car was attacked by mortars of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Hiding in a wooded area, the fighter noticed a UAV in the air, which corrected the fire of enemy guns, and then shot it down with targeted fire. Having secured the way, he successfully delivered the valuable cargo to the specified point.
