The Ministry of Education announced the dates of the spring holidays for schoolchildren in 2026

It is recommended to hold spring holidays in Russian schools from March 28 to April 5. This was announced on February 3 by the Minister of Education of the Russian Federation Sergey Kravtsov.

The head of the Ministry of Education clarified that the relevant recommendations have already been sent to educational organizations.

"Educational organizations are recommended to spend spring break between March 28 and April 5, 2026," Sergey Kravtsov told RIA Novosti.

He also recalled that the winter holidays for schoolchildren lasted from December 31, 2025 to January 11, 2026.

Earlier, on January 22, it was reported that in 2026, Russians expect five periods of long weekends for three days in a row — in February, March, May and June. It was also noted that November 4 will be a day off. The next New Year holidays, according to preliminary data, will be held from December 31, 2026 to January 10, 2027.
