A truck driver was detained in the Krasnoyarsk Territory after a fatal accident.

The truck driver who caused a traffic accident with the dead in the Rybinsk municipal District of the Krasnoyarsk Territory was detained in accordance with Article 91 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Russian Federation. This was reported on February 3 in the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Telegram channel.

"The truck driver who caused a traffic accident with the dead in the Rybinsk municipal District has been detained in accordance with Article 91 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Russian Federation," the ministry said in a statement.

The Interior Ministry clarified that the investigation of the criminal case is being conducted by the investigative unit of the General Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

Earlier that day, it was reported that seven minors were injured in a fatal bus accident in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. All the children were hospitalized, two of them are in serious condition, the rest are in moderate condition. Three victims were taken to hospitals in Krasnoyarsk by ambulance helicopters from the Borodino City Hospital and the Kansk Central District Hospital.
