Scammers disguised as students began stealing data from online tutors

On Tuesday, February 3, it became known that fraudsters have developed a new scheme in which they sign up for online classes with tutors under the guise of students and convince the victim to go to a phishing site, after which they steal email data.

Connection problems may be one of the pretexts. Then the attackers send the tutor their link to connect, for example, to the alleged Zoom service, which in fact is a fake website. Next, the victim, unaware of the deception, enters his login details, which fall into the hands of fraudsters, RIA Novosti found out.
