Peter Zh. Confessed to the murder of a boy in the Leningrad region. He distinguished himself by his rude attitude towards people around him, and also behaved mysteriously. On February 2, Izvestia was told about this by a store clerk who regularly visited the suspect.

"He constantly came to our store, took a block of cigarettes and a chocolate bar <...>. He was very rude, mysterious. He used to be rude sometimes, saying we were giving him the wrong cigarettes," the source said.

It is noted that the suspect always went shopping alone. As Peter himself told the seller, he had previously worked as a builder. The man also owns a large plot of land in the village of Yalgelevo.

On February 1, the press service of the Investigative Committee of Russia in St. Petersburg reported on the continuation of the search for a nine-year-old boy who left home. The police and LizaAlert volunteers are involved in the search for the boy.

The next day, a source from Izvestia reported that a nine-year-old boy could have been abducted. It was noted that the suspect offered children in the parking lot at the hypermarket to ride in his car for money. On the same day, it also became known that law enforcement agencies had detained a suspect in the abduction. During the interrogation, he refused to testify.
