The State Duma will review restrictions on the use of personal funds
The State Duma plans to amend laws restricting the use of citizens' own funds in the fight against fraud. Anatoly Aksakov, chairman of the State Duma Committee on the Financial Market, told reporters on February 2.
According to him, the previously taken measures require additional analysis and refinement.
"We will, of course, adjust the legislative decisions that we have made that limit the ability to use our funds, <...> study them and make them more optimal, and where we have bent them, we will bend them in the opposite direction, straighten them," Aksakov said.
At the same time, Aksakov said that a significant part of the complaints about difficulties with access to funds are initiated by the scammers themselves. According to him, "80% of such appeals come from the same scammers," who, according to him, deliberately create a sense of the fallacy of the decisions made and fuel public discontent.
