Ukraine did not agree with FIFA's position on the admission of teams from Russia

The Ukrainian Football Association (UAF) has expressed disagreement with the statement by FIFA President Gianni Infantino that the suspension of Russian teams from participating in international sports competitions is not an effective measure. The statement was published on the organization's website on February 2.

"We disagree with the statement that the ban does not work. We consider suspension from participation in competitions to be an effective method of pressure," it says.

The UAF called on the FIFA president not to change his position on the issue of the suspension of Russians from football competitions.
