Storm warning announced in Sochi due to large waves

Forecasters predict heavy precipitation and increased sea waves in Sochi and on the territory of Sirius in the coming days. A storm warning has been issued.

According to forecasts, heavy rains are expected in the morning and afternoon of February 3. Sleet will fall in the afternoon, with possible heavy snowfalls in some places, with snow sticking to wires and trees. KrasnodarMedia news agency writes about this.

The height of the waves will reach 1.5 m. Avalanche danger will remain in the mountains, the highest at altitudes above 1000 m.
