Abnormally cold weather will remain in Moscow until February 6. The average daily air temperature will be 7-12 degrees below the climatic norm. This was reported on February 2 in the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the capital.

"From February 3-6, abnormally cold weather will continue in Moscow with an average daily air temperature of 7-12 degrees below the climatic norm," the report says.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations urged caution and recommended using only factory heaters, not leaving them unattended, avoiding overloading the power grid and wearing multi-layered clothing. It is also recommended to limit the time spent outdoors in low temperatures.

Tatiana Pozdnyakova, a leading specialist at the Meteonosti news agency, reported on the same day that the cold weather in the Moscow region would continue throughout the week, including on weekends. According to her, the most severe frosts are expected in the middle of the week, when the weather will be influenced by the periphery of the anticyclone.
