Three passengers recovered 937,000 rubles from Pegasus Hava Tasimaciligi AS through the Moskovsky District Court in St. Petersburg due to the cancellation of their tickets on suspicion of fraud. This was reported on February 2 in the joint press service of the courts of St. Petersburg.

The lawsuit was filed by Alexandra Dolgikh, Ekaterina and Alexander Slesarev after Pegasus cancelled their tickets to St. Petersburg in the Turkish Dallaman. The company then reported that this was due to suspected fraud related to the payment of additional baggage.

"The court did not establish any legal grounds for the airline's unilateral refusal to fulfill the air transportation contract dated 10.10.2024 on the grounds of suspicion of fraud in paying for additional baggage," the agency said in a Telegram channel message.

Last year, on December 25, S7 Airlines was fined 30,000 rubles for refusing to transport passengers due to ticket resale. The prosecutor's office brought the carrier to administrative responsibility under Part 2 of Article 14.4 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation.
