The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) attacked a private house in the city of Stary Oskol, Belgorod region, killing two people as a result of the attack. Footage of the aftermath of the February 2 strike is published by Izvestia.

"Ukrainian militants sent an airplane-type drone at a private house. The impact hit the roof, and the second floor immediately caught fire. There were people at home at that moment, they were resting," Poltoranin told the correspondent.

It is specified that the wreckage of the drone, as well as the bodies of the victims, were found at the scene of the incident. The attack occurred at 03:30 (coincides with Moscow time).

The Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked a completely peaceful area in which there were no military units. As a result of the strike, two people were killed, and they were sleeping on the second floor when the drone arrived.

"The neighbors called a friend, they say the house is on fire, there was some kind of impact. <...> Julia is a mother, and Seryozha is a father. Mom is 44 [years old], and Sergey is a little older, 50. <...> Good people, it's a pity," said Alexander, a relative of the victims.

According to him, Yulia worked in a bank, and Sergey worked in a shopping mall.

The governor of the Belgorod Region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, announced on the same day that a private house had caught fire in the city of Stary Oskol as a result of an attack by a Ukrainian drone. He added that the detonation of another drone blew out windows in more than ten apartments of three apartment buildings, and also damaged a car.

Gladkov later reported that two people had been killed in the Ukrainian Armed Forces' night attack on Stary Oskol. According to the governor, after the drone hit the house, a fire started, which led to a partial collapse of the building.
