BMW will start equipping all its cars with updated nameplates with the brand's logo from February this year. According to BMW Blog, the changes in the logo turned out to be so minor that most fans of the brand won't even notice them.

The updated BMW logo debuted on the iX3 crossover, which was first shown in September last year. The new badge has lost its chrome elements: the inner ring, which previously had a black outer circle from the blue and white quadrants symbolizing the colors of the flag of Bavaria, and the edging around them. The blue and white became more saturated, and the black ring changed from a glossy finish to a matte finish.

In addition, it is reported that BMW will also update the design of the nameplates, which denote sports modifications of models from the M-division. There are no details about the changes yet. The logo is also expected to become more minimalist.

In 2025, 64,000 BMW cars were imported to Russia, which is 44% more than a year earlier. As specified on January 26, imports of new cars increased by a third (+34%), while used imports doubled (+49%).
