A criminal case has been opened in Primorsky Krai on fraud, as a result of which a 75-year-old woman was injured. The victim transferred more than 1.25 million rubles to outsiders.

According to a resident of the Border District, strangers contacted her first on behalf of a cellular operator, and then allegedly from the prosecutor's office. They convinced the woman that her savings were in danger. The pensioner communicated with the scammers for three days and agreed to transfer the money to the courier, writes IA PrimaMedia.
