The musical "Don't be afraid of anything, I'm with you!" will return to the MDM stage for several months.

Dmitry Bogachev's Broadway Moscow Theater Company announces the return of its phenomenally successful project "Don't be Afraid of Anything, I'm with you!" The play, which won hundreds of thousands of hearts, will reopen its doors to the audience on April 11.

From 2022 to 2024, the musical of iconic songs, including "Hello", "My Love is on the fifth Floor", "Christina's Name Day", "Sarah Baraboo", "Alice", "Home", was one of the main theatrical events in the country: in just two seasons of daily sold-out screenings, more than 1.2 million people. With this result, "Don't be afraid of Anything, I'm with you" entered the Russian Book of Records as the musical of daily distribution with the largest number of viewers in the history of the Russian theater. At the same time, the show's collections exceeded 3.4 billion rubles, confirming its exceptional audience and commercial success.

After the rental was completed, Broadway Moscow received tens of thousands of requests for the return of the production – both from ardent fans of "Fear Nothing, I'm with you" who wanted to see their favorite play again and show it to their loved ones, and from those who had heard a lot about it and regretted that they did not have time to get to it..

To stage the original jukebox musical (a play based on popular musical material), the Broadway Moscow team brought together leading theater, film and television professionals. Mikhail Mironov, who worked with the Chekhov Moscow Art Theater and the Evening Urgant TV show, became the director. He also wrote the play in collaboration with the famous screenwriter Sergei Kaluzhanov (Method 2, Major, etc.). The choreographer was Irina Kashuba ("The Last Fairy Tale", "Chess"). Maxim Obrezkov created a spectacular set design: the recognizable and infinitely beloved St. Petersburg comes to life on stage: above its sloping roofs, secret doorways, bridges and Nevsky Prospekt, the famous trolleybus with the number "1983" will once again soar into the starry sky. Evgeny Zagot, the Golden Mask Award winner, became the musical director of the project. Thanks to his bold and rich arrangements for a large orchestra, 20 hits of the Secret group performed by the musical characters sounded from the stage of the MDM Theater as the voice of fearless youth and the era of great hopes.

The events of the musical unfold in the mid-80s – with their spirit of freedom, informals of all stripes, bold fashion, underground rock apartment dwellers, the search for true love, the trials of friendship and faith in the imminent changes. The heroes of the story are young, ardent romantics who have to make difficult choices: to be happy or successful, to follow imposed expectations or stay true to themselves, to live according to a pattern or decide to make their own destiny. The performance is filled with heartfelt scenes and comical situations, and fateful accidents and amazing coincidences arise literally at every step.
