Geely unveils new version of Atlas crossover in Russia

Sales of a new modification of the Geely Atlas crossover will begin in Russia. In the new front-wheel drive version, it is equipped not with a two-liter 200-horsepower engine, as before, but with a less powerful 1.5-liter unit. The price starts from 3.45 million rubles, the company said in a statement received by Izvestia on February 2.

A turbocharged 1.5-liter gasoline engine (147 hp, 270 Nm) is combined with a seven-speed "robot". It is stated that the average fuel consumption in the combined cycle is only 6.8 liters per 100 km of the NEDC cycle. There are four modes of operation of the driving electronics.

The crossover's equipment list includes fully LED optics, 19-inch wheels, and a panoramic roof with a sunroof. The interior and chairs are decorated in dark blue eco-leather with light gray inserts. Options include dual-zone climate control, rain and light sensors, keyless entry system, remote engine start, digital dashboard (10.25 inches), multimedia system (13.2 inches) with wireless integration of an iOS smartphone, as well as an audio system with six speakers and electric adjustment of the driver's seat in six directions.

The list of equipment also includes a winter package, including heated front and rear seats, steering wheel, windshield, exterior mirrors, rear window and washer nozzles. The basic equipment includes six airbags, front and rear parking sensors, an all-round camera system, adaptive cruise control and other assistants.

The Russian-built Tenet T9 crossover may enter the Russian market in May 2026. As specified on January 39, the seven-seat Tenet T9 modification will first go on sale, and later the model will have a five-seat interior layout.
