Starting in 2026, Russia began conducting surveys to identify risk factors for the development of noncommunicable diseases that can lead to aging. This was announced on February 2 by the Minister of Health of the Russian Federation Mikhail Murashko.

"Starting in 2026, Health centers will conduct surveys of citizens to assess functional and adaptive health reserves, identify risk factors for the development of noncommunicable diseases and other changes in the human body that can lead to premature activation of aging mechanisms," says Mikhail Murashko, head of the department, in an article on the website. kp.ru .

According to him, preventive consultations will also be conducted in the centers. In addition, citizens will be offered programs to lead a healthy lifestyle and proper nutrition.

The day before, it became known that the Russian government has approved a list of free medical examinations aimed at identifying the risks of early aging. According to the document, Russians will be able to undergo clinical blood tests, a general urinalysis, as well as biochemical blood tests to assess the level of ferritin, C-reactive protein, interleukin-6, zinc and magnesium.
