Tourists found lost in the area of thermal springs in Kamchatka

Rescuers of the Regional state-owned institution "Center for Ensuring Actions for Civil Defense, Emergencies and Fire Safety in the Kamchatka Territory" (KGKU "TSOD") and the police found tourists who disappeared in the area of Pushchinsky thermal springs. This was announced on February 2 by the Minister of Emergency Situations of the region Sergey Lebedev.

"Rescuers from KGKU TsOD and the police traveled 10 km on snowmobiles, met one snowmobile with two adults (from the group they were looking for, who were "punching" the road towards Pushchino). The other three adults and three children are at the recreation center in the house," he said in a message on his VKontakte page.

According to Lebedev, rescuers moved to the cabin. At the time of publication, they have 4 km left.

Lebedev reported on February 1 about a group of tourists who went to the Pushchinsky thermal springs, which stopped contacting. Relatives said that due to the weather conditions, they could not get to the place where the group might be, and requested the help of rescuers.
