Cloudy, light snow, and icy conditions await residents of the capital region on Monday, February 2. The corresponding forecast is published on the website of the Hydrometeorological Center.

The air temperature in Moscow will range from -16 to -14 degrees during the day. At night, the thermometer will drop to -22.

In the Moscow region, it will be from -19 to -14 degrees during the day, and at night the temperature may drop to -24, in some places to -27 degrees.

A westerly wind with a speed of 3-10 m/s is expected.

Atmospheric pressure will range from 743 to 745 mmHg.

On January 30, Alexander Ilyin, a forecaster at the Meteo forecasting center, announced the approach of a cold front with frosts to the capital and its region. He clarified that the Arctic wind will arrive in this area, which will cause the thermometer to drop to -23 and sometimes to -26 degrees at night. In addition, the specialist said that precipitation may occur again in the Moscow region at the beginning of the week from February 2 to February 8.
