Igor Runts, the founder of the Bitriver mining company, has been charged with concealing funds from which taxes should be collected. This was reported to TASS by law enforcement agencies on February 2.

"Runets is charged under Part 11 of Article 199.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Concealment of funds or property of an organization or individual entrepreneur, at the expense of which taxes, fees, and insurance premiums should be collected." — Ed.)," said a law enforcement official.
