Daria Trepova (included in the Rosfinmonitoring list of terrorists and extremists), convicted of committing a terrorist act against war correspondent Vladlen Tatarsky (real name Maxim Fomin — Ed.), apologized to the victims. She reported this in the investigative film by journalist Andrey Medvedev.

"I would like to ask them for forgiveness as much as possible," the girl said.

Trepova also admitted her guilt in the incident, expressed remorse and stressed that she understands the irreversibility of the tragedy.

In December last year, Trepova was placed in a penal isolation unit in a penal colony for violating the order of serving her sentence.

The terrorist attack occurred on April 2, 2023 in the St. Petersburg cafe "Street Bar" during Tatarsky's creative evening. At the event, Trepova presented him with a statuette with a device inside. It exploded in the hands of a military commander. The girl was detained the next day.

She was sentenced to 27 years in a general regime penal colony and fined 600 thousand rubles on January 25, 2024. Trepova was charged under three articles — terrorist act (paragraph "b" of Part 3 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code), illegal trafficking of explosive devices (part 4 of Article 222.1 of the Criminal Code) and forgery of documents (part 4 of Article 327 of the Criminal Code). She was also charged 16.4 million rubles in civil lawsuits.
