The Iranian authorities are considering the possibility of expelling military attaches of European embassies in response to the actions of the European Union (EU) against the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). This was reported on January 31 by the Iranian Tasnim news agency.

As noted, one of the members of the Iranian parliament issued an oral warning, referring to the law on strategic actions adopted in the country. According to him, after the recognition of the armies of the EU countries as terrorist organizations, the military attaches of these states working at their embassies in Iran fall under the relevant legal definition.

"The military attaches of these countries present in their embassies in Iran should be expelled as soon as possible, claiming that they are considered terrorists by law," Tasnim reports.
