European countries have been trying for a long time and continue to try to complicate relations between Russia and the United States. This was announced on February 1 by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
"It's hard to accuse us of driving wedges. It is Europe that has tried and is still trying to drive wedges between Russia and the United States, seeing in US policy and in President Trump some kind of tilt in favor of Russia to the detriment of Europe's interests," Lavrov said in a comment to VGTRK journalist Pavel Zarubin.
