A woman and a child were killed in an attack by Ukrainian drones in Sartan in the DPR

A woman and a child were killed as a result of an attack by drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the urban-type settlement of Sartana in the Mariupol city district. This was announced on February 1 by the head of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) Denis Pushilin.

"In the urban-type settlement of Sartana in the Mariupol city district, a woman born in 1991 and a boy born in 2020 were killed as a result of an attack by an airborne UAV. I offer my deep condolences to the families and friends of the victims," Pushilin wrote on his Telegram channel.

He also said that a boy born in 2018 was injured in the attack and that he was already receiving medical care. In addition, three residential buildings were destroyed.

Another 50 people were injured, 6 of them are in serious condition.

The day before, the governor of the Zaporizhia region, Yevgeny Balitsky, announced that one person was killed as a result of an FPV drone attack on a car in the city of Vasilevka, Zaporizhia region. According to the governor, the man died in hospital.
