French politician Philippot supported Zakharova's joke about Macron's glasses

On February 1, the leader of the French right-wing Patriots party, Florian Philippot, supported the joke of Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova about French President Emmanuel Macron's "magic glasses," saying that the French leader humiliates the people of his own country.

"The representative of Russian diplomacy (Zakharova. — Ed.) publicly ridiculed him by mentioning "his magic glasses"! Glasses that allow him to say anything, for example, about the "common border with Russia": a border that doesn't really exist. <...> This ridiculous braggart humiliates us everywhere," says his message in X (ex. Twitter).
