Emergency light shutdowns have been introduced in Ukraine

On January 31, an emergency blackout occurred on the territory of Ukraine, caused by problems in the power system. This was announced on January 31 by Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmygal.

"At 10:42 a.m. today, a technological disruption occurred with the simultaneous shutdown of the 400 kV line between the power systems of Romania and Moldova and the 750 kV line between the western and central parts of Ukraine. This led to a cascading shutdown in Ukraine's electric power grid and the activation of automatic protections at substations," Shmygal wrote on his Telegram channel.
