On January 31, the governor of the Kherson region, Vladimir Saldo, said that life in Kherson, which is under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), is getting harder, people continue to leave the city because of the repressive regime of the Ukrainian administration.

"People keep leaving because it's getting harder to live in a city under military control and with communal disruptions," Saldo said in an interview with TASS.

According to him, local residents decide to leave the city because of communal problems and the repressive regime of the Ukrainian administration.

On January 20, Baldo said that there was only one subdistrict of Kherson left, which has full-fledged heating and water supply.
