Moscow has the lowest share of vodka sales
In 2025, Moscow recorded the lowest share of vodka in total alcohol sales in the region. This was reported on January 31, according to statistics.
According to her data, which was reviewed by RIA Novosti, the share of vodka in sales in the capital was 23.8%, while 4,506 million decaliters of the drink were sold. In St. Petersburg, this figure is slightly higher — 23.9%, with sales of 2.495 million decaliters. Sevastopol came in third place with a share of vodka of 28.5% (277 thousand decaliters).
The Krasnodar Territory took the fourth place, where the share of vodka in 2025 amounted to 28.9%, and its sales amounted to 2.435 million decaliters. The Moscow region closes the list with a share of just over 30% and sales of 5.982 million decaliters.
On January 26, it was reported that vodka sales in Russia decreased by 3.6% by the end of 2025. Thus, the sale of alcoholic beverages with a strength of over 9% decreased by 1.1%, amounting to almost 120 million decaliters. The most significant drop — by 87.3% — was recorded in the segment of low-alcohol products, the volume of which amounted to only 1.5 million decaliters.
