The US Department of Justice has called the information about the President of the United States, Donald Trump, contained in the recently published files of Epstein, false. This follows from the statement of the department, published on January 30 on the official website.

"Some of the documents contain false and sensational statements against President Trump, which were handed over to the FBI immediately before the 2020 election," the agency said in a statement.

According to false information from the documents, Trump had an affair with a 13 or 14-year-old girl about 10 years ago.

The Daily Telegraph learned on the same day that Epstein's new materials contained letters in which the financier, accused of sexual crimes, criticized Microsoft founder Bill Gates for allegedly receiving a sexually transmitted disease (STD). It was noted that Gates' connections with the financier, which the Microsoft founder has repeatedly denied, caused concern to his wife Melinda and could be one of the factors leading to their divorce in 2021.

Later, a representative of Gates called the information contained in the files absurd. According to him, the information released only indicates Epstein's disappointment due to the lack of a permanent relationship with Gates. The financier, according to the newspaper's interlocutor, tried to denigrate the entrepreneur with such statements.
