UAV operators destroyed at least five hexacopters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Zaporozhye region

Operators of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the troops of the unmanned systems of the 35th combined arms army of the Vostok group of forces organized air cover for assault units in the Zaporizhia region and destroyed at least five hexacopters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on January 31 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

The ministry clarified that motorized infantry destroyed the first hexacopter, however, several more enemy drones appeared in the sky, armed with various types of ammunition and containers with molotov cocktails. The information was transmitted to the control center of the UAV of the Eastern Group of Forces.

The operators immediately moved into the area of aerial combat and eliminated enemy drones, thereby providing air cover for Russian attack aircraft.

On January 30, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation published footage in which soldiers of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, who are part of the calculation of the Grad rocket system of the tank division of the Center group of forces, spoke about performing combat missions in the Dnipropetrovsk region in the area of a special military operation. The Ministry noted that Russian military personnel continue to strike at the identified manpower and fortifications of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
