The acceptance of applications for the Moscow Masters competition in the categories for employees of the hospitality industry has started. Guides, hotel administrators and tourist police officers can take part, said Natalia Sergunina, Deputy Mayor of the capital. "Both experienced and novice specialists are invited to prove themselves. The results of the competition will be announced in June. The jury will determine 11 laureates," Sergunina said.
Participants must work in the capital, be over 18 years old and have Russian citizenship.

This year, there are three nominations. In the "Guide (author's walking and bus tours)" category, you need to come up with your own walking route, and in the next stages, present it and conduct an in—person tour of the Moscow part of the Golden Ring national tourist route, which the city has been part of since 2025.

Applicants in the Hotel Administrator nomination should send a video presentation and an essay on the profession and its prospects along with the application.
The third nomination is intended for representatives of the tourist police. These are guides, translators, and law enforcement officers all rolled into one. The contestants will be tested and tested for knowledge of the sights of the capital.

The jury will include experts and leaders in the hospitality industry from the Moscow Confederation of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (Employers), the Moscow Professional Union of Physical Education, Sports and Tourism Workers, the Association of Guides, Translators, Guides and tour Managers, hotel chains, and specialized universities.

Three laureates will be selected in each nomination, as well as two special awards. The winners will receive diplomas, gifts and cash prizes in the amount of 300 thousand rubles for the first place, 200 thousand for the second and 150 thousand for the third.
