In January 2026, the highest holiday spending among Russian tourists was recorded in Florida and Moscow. This was reported to Izvestia on February 2 by analysts of the OneTwoTrip travel planning service.

"The leader of the foreign rating was a five-star hotel in Sunny Isles Beach (Florida, USA), where a group of four people, including a child, spent six days. The cost of accommodation without meals was 1,979,850 rubles. In second place was a vacation in the French resort of Courchevel: two tourists stayed for nine days in a five-star hotel with breakfast for 1,749,500 rubles. Completing the top three is a trip to Dubai (UAE), where four travelers (including one child) rested for 10 days at a resort hotel with breakfast for 1,434,400 rubles," the study said.

Moscow became the most expensive among Russian destinations: accommodation in a five-star hotel for three days for a traveler with a child (without meals) cost 750 thousand rubles. In second place is Esto-Sadok, where a company of five people spent five days in a four-star hotel without meals for 614.25 thousand rubles. Arkhyz took the third position: a family of three (with one child) rested for seven days in a five-star hotel with breakfast for 490.6 thousand rubles.

In addition, St. Petersburg (an eight-day stay for two people in a five-star hotel without meals for 414 thousand rubles) and Sochi (accommodation for four people, including a child, in a five-star hotel with breakfast for seven days for 243.7 thousand rubles) entered the top.

Analysts of the Tutu service reported on January 25 that the Jewish Autonomous Region has become the most accessible destination for winter family travel. The average cost of round-trip tickets for a family of three is about 17 thousand rubles, and staying in a hotel for three nights will cost about 7 thousand rubles. In general, the trip will cost the family about 24 thousand rubles.
