A series of audio guides "Walking through the districts" was presented in Moscow
A series of free audio tours "Walking through the districts" has been prepared for residents of the capital. Those who wish are invited to educational walks in parks, squares, bridges, boulevards, said Deputy Mayor Natalia Sergunina.
"The project already has 45 issues. Each of them is dedicated to a different area of Moscow. The short stories are designed to be comfortable to listen to while walking. The selection will be gradually replenished," Sergunina said.
During the tour of the Airport area, the audience will be introduced to the history of the Petrovsky Travel Palace. Other points of the route include Cosmonaut Komarov Square, the Church of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the obelisk "Guiding Star of the Hussar", the complex "Town of Artists", where Igor Grabar, Vladimir Tatlin and other prominent artists lived and worked.
A walk along Khoroshevo-Mnevniki starts with a tour of the Picturesque Bridge and continues in Serebryany Bor.
In Veshnyaki, they offer to visit the Kuskovo estate and the adjacent park. The complex is home to the P.B. Sheremetev Summer Palace and the Grotto Pavilion, decorated with clam shells. You can continue your walk along the paths of the Kuskovsky Forest Park.
A series of audio guides is available on the website of the Moscow Mayor's My District program, as well as on some podcast platforms.
The My District program is aimed at creating comfortable living conditions for citizens in all areas — from comfortable courtyards and parks to modern infrastructure facilities near the house.
