In January of this year, VTB issued more than 1.1 million Pushkin cards, the bank's press service reported. The bank accepted about 25 thousand applications daily. In total, VTB has issued over 5.4 million "Pushkin cards" to date.

In January, young people purchased more than 3.8 million tickets using the Pushkin Cards issued by VTB. Going to the cinema remained the most popular activity both on New Year's holidays and on weekdays of the month. The total amount spent on Pushkin's cards in January exceeded 2.2 billion rubles.

"Following the results of the first month of the VTB program, we see that interest in the Pushkin Map remains at a high level. Young people continue to actively use it to visit cinemas, theaters and museums. This confirms that the program is an important part of the cultural life of young people," said Alexey Okhorzin, Senior Vice President and Head of the Retail Business Products Department at VTB.

The Pushkin Map program was launched in 2021. Its goal is to increase the accessibility of cultural events for young people and to attract them to the arts: theaters, museums, concerts and cinema. The Pushkin Card is available to young people from 14 to 22 years old inclusive. The state annually transfers a subsidy of 5,000 rubles to it, which can only be spent on tickets to cultural events (trips to theaters and cinemas, visits to exhibitions and concerts). At the same time, you can spend up to 2 thousand rubles from the limit on cinemas.

VTB became the operator bank of the Pushkin Card as part of the integration of the former operator of the program, Postbank. VTB continues to integrate Postbank, VTB noted.
