The Russian Atom electric car is scheduled to go on sale in April 2026. This was stated by Alexander Kostylev, Commercial Director of Kama JSC, TASS reported on January 30.

Kostylev said that Atom sales for individuals will be carried out only online with the delivery of an electric car to the house. At the same time, test drives and after-sales service will be available from the company's partners in major cities. The first cars will be received by those customers who pre-ordered in 2023, as well as carsharing partners, taxi companies and regional authorities (for pilot testing).

For those who pre-order, the price is 3.9 million rubles, and when buying on credit or leasing, there is a state subsidy of 925 thousand rubles, representatives of the Kama company shared. He noted that the car is guaranteed for eight years or 200 thousand kilometers. As for maintenance, every 20,000 km Atom needs to change the cabin filter, and every 40,000 km it needs to change the oil in the gearbox.

On December 5, it was reported that Atom electric vehicles are planned to be produced in three versions: for private use, taxi and carsharing. The service centers will be located in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny and in eight to ten other cities of the country. In September last year, Atom passed certification and received Vehicle Type Approval, which allows it to begin mass production and sales in Russia.
